3-Star Restaurant in Cassis

A Cassis paradise

In Cassis, the Anse du Corton is a painting. With a touch of blue, gold and green, nature has sketched an Eden.

The 3-star restaurant La Villa Madie, run by Marielle and Dimitri Droisneau, stands there, in this small cove washed by the Mediterranean.

Before the suspended terrace, the sea offers its shades: Klein blue in the morning, silver at midday, copper at dusk.

Between the vineyards and the calanques, La Madie looks out over the Cap Canaille, which blazes orange at sunset. A journey through a painter's palette.

The chef

Dimitri

“Dimitri is pure energy, always in motion. He cooks the way he lives: with intensity, instinct and sensitivity. He doesn't build a menu, he listens to what Cassis whispers each morning. Twice a day, at lunch and dinner, he puts in an unimaginable amount of work to interpret the terroir. It's a lesson in humility that touches me deeply. He bares himself at every service, gives everything as if there were no tomorrow. His tenacity is as great as his desire to please. His cooking says it all: the generosity of the man, the selflessness of the chef, the Norman who fell madly in love with the Mediterranean.”

The soul of the House

Marielle

Marielle is the soul of La Villa Madie. She embodies hospitality at its truest: never in display, always in attentiveness and discretion.

She anticipates, observes, and instinctively understands the needs of our guests.

So she adapts the service to each one, tailors every detail, creates a sense of wellbeing by erasing protocol. She flows like water. I love her elegance, which soothes, and her delicacy, which naturally envelops. Marielle is my yin, her gentleness balances my energy. At La Villa Madie, she is the middle line, the precision, the temperance.

The spirit of the Madie

A 3-star restaurant in Cassis, La Villa Madie breathes the sweetness of Provençal life.

We call her ‘La Madie’. Like the Mediterranean, she is a character in her own right.

A contemporary House, she welcomes with warmth, humanity and attention, turning excellence into a way of being without ever overplaying it.

Set in a breathtaking landscape, terrace facing the immensity of the sea, she remains humble.

La Madie doesn't seek to impress, but to embrace with ease, so the present can be lived more intensely.

3-star excellence, La Villa Madie

Indoors or on the terrace, facing the ever-changing pictures of the sea, La Villa Madie brings together territory, gastronomy and art of living.

Here, chef Dimitri Droisneau offers a graphic and sensitive reading of the Mediterranean through a cuisine of ecosystems that captures and interprets the iodine and minerality, the plant life and the sun of Provence.

Every dish translates the immediacy of the terroir in a three-time waltz: the produce of the moment, memories of the past, and a vision of the avant-garde.

A cuisine of authorship and emotion, for an unreserved dive into the taste of the Mediterranean.

La Brasserie du Corton

Above the 3-star restaurant, La Brasserie du Corton offers a fine Mediterranean bistronomy: market-driven, seasonal cooking, direct, honest and generous.

Locally caught fish, octopus, beef and oyster tartare, Marseille sausage... The table is sunny, lively and convivial, always with this breathtaking view of the sea.

A brasserie of fine produce to savour the Mediterranean with simplicity. Under the sun, exactly.
